This time you will visit the Marino Ballena National Park near the town of Uvita on the Pacific Ocean coast where you will have the opportunity to see dolphins, large humpback whales as well as pilot whales (close family of dolphins).
Getting to the Marino Ballena National Park will take you an hour by car from Manuel Antonio passing through beautiful beaches such as Dominical, Playa Matapalo and Playa Uvita. When you arrive at the place to board the boat that will take you to sail along the Pacific coast you can take beautiful photos of the tourist places such as Roca Ballena, Roca Viuda, Tres Hermanas and the Caverns in front of Playa Ventanas.
It should be noted that humpback whales usually approach the Costa Rican coasts in two seasons: between December and March, and between July and October where there is a greater probability of spotting them, although this is not always an exact science.
