In this cultural tour we will learn more about the “Yumbos” culture and its constructions called the “Pozas de Tulipe”, besides visiting the town of Mindo and its butterfly farm as well as you will also learn about the cultivation of cocoa and the process of its transformation into Chocolate.
We will leave Quito passing through the road that crosses the town of Nanegalito until we reach the Archaeological Museum of Tulipe in a trip of about 2 hours, upon reaching Tulipe, we will visit the famous constructions called "Pozas de Tulipe" where you will learn about the Yumbo culture that lived in this area of the northwest of Quito.
Our journey will now continue to the Mindo butterfly farm that is located in a cloud forest area, in Mindo you will also be able to learn about the process of making chocolate and you can buy some processed products. After our activities and cultural visits, we will finally return to Quito.
