We will pass through the Strait of Magellan to see an impressive king penguin colony that is unique to the Americas.
To start your trip to the starting point of your journey through the Strait of Magellan to reach the island of Tierra del Fuego, we will pick you up. There you will visit the King Penguin Nature Reserve at Bah’a Intil. A local guide will meet you there and provide travel instructions as well as vital details about this second largest penguin species in the world. To avoid disturbing the animals, observation is made from designated places, at a distance of 50 meters (164 feet) and in complete stillness. You will return to your vehicle to resume your trip through Tierra del Fuego after approximately one hour of observation and travel along the designated route.
