Overview

The Sierra Negra Volcano Tour will take you to visit the second largest crater in the world with a diameter of 10 kilometers (6 miles), this volcano along with 4 more, make up Isabela Island. Sierra Negra is currently an active volcano so during the walk you will see some lava paths, fumaroles and thermal vents. After all the photos you take … you will continue the walk towards the Chico volcano, a totally different scene with volcanic rock formations that reflect the evolution of the island.

Throughout the journey, which lasts about 5 hours, you will be accompanied by an expert naturalist guide who will help you learn more about the flora and fauna of the highlands of Isabela. the tour includes some snacks and fruits for the road.
