Despite being a small island, San ta Fe is one of the oldest islands in the Galapagos, however, you will not see less wildlife there, on the contrary, when you visit it you will see different species of land and marine wildlife. The tour to this island will take you all morning and part of the afternoon with lunch included.
From the beginning of the tour, you will already be able to see some seabirds flying over the waters near the island, so you will see birds such as the aquatic shearwater and the forked-tailed gulls. When you arrive at the coast of the island, you will have your first encounter with the sea lions when you go down to snorkel, you will also be able to see some sea turtles and manta rays or if you prefer, from the yacht you can cast the hook to catch some swordfish, tuna white or wahoo fish.
On this tour you will visit “Playa Escondida” (hidden beach) where you will be welcomed by friendly sea lions lying on the sand, there you can snorkel and see the great variety of marine life that lives there such as white tip reef sharks and Sea turtles, on land you can see iguanas among the cacti or birds perched on the branches of Palo Santo trees such as mockingbirds, chattering finches or Galápagos pigeons.
