This tour takes you to the highlands of San Cristobal Island where you will walk among different types of flora that inhabit that area as well as an interesting freshwater lagoon and then visit the beaches where you can snorkel.
First you will be transferred by car to the top of a hill, from there you will start the walk along paths of lush vegetation in a cloud forest where the myconians stand out, this is an endemic plant of this island that you can find around the crater of the volcano where now you will find the freshwater lagoon.
Then you will visit the Giant Tortoise Breeding Center where you will see these endemic species in different stages of their growth. Your tour will continue along an opuntia cactus path until you reach Puerto Chino beach to enjoy its white sands and blue waters.
After the beach it is time for a traditional Ecuadorian lunch at a local farm, after that you will again reach a beach place, this time it is Playa Lobería where you will see the friendly sea lions lying on the sand and some iguanas walking along the rocky edges of the beach where you will also see some endemic birds nesting or simply perching after feeding. Finally you will return to the city to rest from so much fun.
08:30 AM - Visit to the "El Junco" Lagoon (freshwater lagoon)
12:00 PM - Picnic lunch at a Local Farm (with coffee tasting)
01:30 PM - Walk through the farm, collection and tasting of fruits and visit the Otoe plantation (food for the giant tortoises)
03:30 PM - Return to the port.
04:30 PM - Snorkeling at Lobería beach
05:30 PM - Return to the hotel
