We will leave very early from your hotel in Natales to go to the border with Argentina, to “El Calafate” in the Argentine province of Santa Cruz where we will see the most imposing glaciers in Patagonia that can even reach 60 meters (196.8 feet) in height, in one of the coldest places on Earth.
Our excursion will leave very early in the direction of the town "Cerro Castillo", a border city where we will carry out customs procedures to pass to the Argentine side. On the way to the border crossing we may see some Andean auquenids such as guanacos and land birds of the area such as ñandus, in addition, when we arrive at "Cuesta Migue", if the day is clear, we will also be able to appreciate the beautiful border landscape that includes the Lake Argentino, the largest Patagonian lake, the Santa Cruz river, the largest in the region, and the impressive peaks of Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre.
By noon we will have reached the "El Calafate" to meet the local Argentine guide who will help us to get to know the "Los Glaciares National Park" where we will be for about 2 hours enjoying the impressive view of this "frozen" area of the world as Perito Moreno glaciar Wall. After the excursion, start the way back to Natales where we will be arriving around 11 PM.
