During your visit to Papallacta you will get to know some of the culinary traditions of the region as well as take a long walk through the Andean humid forest to finally immerse yourself in one of the thermal pools that abound in Papallacta and that will help you relax and renew your energy.
Papallacta is only 1.5 hours from Quito and is known for its volcanic hot springs, its abundant greenery and its trout.
The tour starts around 9:00 AM, from there you will see the beautiful Andean landscapes that take you to your final destination. On the way you will make a stop near the Polylepis forest so that you can enjoy the view and take some photos, after that, you will continue your way until you reach the hot springs that are into a beautiful Resort and Spa that is located inside a protected area of 250 hectares (625 acres) very close to the Cayambe-Coca Ecological Reserve.
The Resort has 5 hot water thermal pools and 1 cold water pool accompanied by a quiet atmosphere surrounded by green mountains. Finally you will finish your afternoon with a delicious traditional lunch of fresh trout.
