Live an interesting experience cycling two of the main tourist places in the department of Cusco.
The guide will pick you up at 9:00 AM at your hotel in Cusco to transfer you for an hour to Chinchero where they will give you some instructions on this experience and give you the bicycle and the necessary safety equipment.
Now, it is time to pedal towards the archaeological complex of Moray where you will see the circular platforms built on a sunken ground in the shape of a bowl. It is believed that these circular platforms were used for research that the Incas did on the growth of crops at different levels of height.
The next point to go will be the salt mines of Maras, down a mule road. The Maras salt mines were built on the slopes of the mountains where puddles of salt water were dammed to produce salt when they dried. Seeing them from afar is quite a spectacle because they look like mosaics painted by nature.
Finally, you will start the return journey to the city of Cusco.
