Enjoy Magdalena Island, the second-largest colony of Magellan penguins in South America, then follow the path to stroll alongside them.
To begin the tour, we will gather at the designated location. After traveling for 50 minutes, we will reach the pier where we will join the boat that will take us, in 1.5 hours, to Magdalena Island. After disembarking, we’ll spend around an hour there. We’ll proceed along an 800-meter path there until we come to a historic lighthouse, from where we can take in a breathtaking view of the Strait of Magellan. Up to 40,000 Magellan penguins will be visible to us throughout the entire hike. The tour comes to a close when we board the boat and make the hour-long ride back to the port.
