Dive in Isabela Island through the underwater lava tunnels and interact with the marine species of the island while discovering these strange formations product of the eruption of now extinct volcanoes.
To start the tour, a local representative will pick you up at your hotel to go to the port and board a boat that will take you to explore the coasts of Isabela while the expert naturalist guide informs you about the flora and fauna that you will see on the tour and while dive. This excursion leaves with a maximum of 10 passengers.
These underwater tunnels are the product of the eruption of hot lava that hardened as it entered the cold waters of the Pacific Ocean. As you cruise, you will make a stop near Union Rock to see some coastal birds. When you arrive at the diving area, you will see some blue-footed boobies roaming the volcanic rocks on the mainland. "El Finado" is the place to dive, it is an ideal cove for diving, where you can swim with sea turtles, seahorses, manta rays, small white tip reef sharks and some Galapagos penguins.
At the end of this experience, you will return to the boat for a box lunch and then you will undertake the return trip to your hotel.
