The Galapagos Marine Reserve protects its marine species, however there is a way to fish in its waters legally, you can do it in a duly authorized boat with an operator authorized by the Galapagos National Park. This type of fishing is called “Experiential Fishing ” and only Galapagos fishermen are eligible to apply for this license.
The licensed fisherman will show you how to fish in these waters and at the end of this experience you will have dinner what he caught, you will have dinner together with his family at his home.
