The small fishing village of Pucusana and its bay are the perfect setting to immerse yourself and get to know the marine life of the Peruvian coast where you will see slugs, sea urchins, sea lions, starfish and fish such as morwongs, groupers, blennies among others. Pucusana is located on the southern outskirts of Lima, just 50 kms (31 miles).
This tour begins leaving your hotel at 9:30 AM and once you arrive in Pucusana your instructor will give you the equipment you need to dive. Before diving you can see some birds typical of the fishing areas such as cormorants, Humboldt penguins and pelicans that are always on the lookout to dive in and catch some fish.
To get to the dive area you will have to board a fiberglass boat with an outboard motor that is professionally equipped with the oxygen tanks you will need to go down to the depths as well as a first aid kit and life jackets.
