Overview

Interact with the inhabitants of the Boruca indigenous tribe and learn about the process of making their famous hand-painted masks that represent Boruca legends and stories as well as themes of nature and their daily life, for this we will visit a local workshop, there you can paint and decorate your own.

The Boruca community has its own museum where you will learn how they bravely defeated the Spanish in the times of the Conquest, allowing them to keep their identity intact.

This socio-cultural experience includes a traditional lunch. This tour is ideal for families and groups of friends. At the end you can take home a souvenir, maybe a painted mask.
