In this walk you will discover the clear waters of the Rio Celeste and crossing trails of tropical jungle in the Tenorio Volcano National Park, a less visited area of Costa Rica but no less interesting to explore.
This walk is moderate in intensity and it is worth it without a doubt since on the way you will be able to see the Rio Celeste waterfall with its 18 meters (60 feet) high, which forms a natural pool of clear waters.
During the walk you will also cross a suspension bridge that crosses the river until you reach the origin of the Rio Celeste, a lagoon with blue waters.
Rio Celeste is formed by the intersection of two rivers that, when joined, create that blue-sky color that comes from minerals in volcanic rock, a unique experience that is worth seeing.
