Overview

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel to go together to Carara National Park, which has almost 50% of the registered species of birds in all of Costa Rica, making it an ideal tour for bird watchers.

The park has two trails to travel that together are approximately 6.5 kilometers (4 miles) long in which your guide will explain about this beautiful reserve and the animals that you will see along the way.

The walk is a bit long but just in the middle of the journey there will be a short stop to recharge. During your tour you will see beautiful birds such as the colorful Red Macaws and you will even be able to see a large population of crocodiles in their natural habitat when you pass through the Tárcoles bridge.

At the end of the tour we will return to the base camp for a delicious traditional lunch where you will taste the Costa Rican flavors and then return to your hotel.
