Iguana Crossing is a luxury boutique hotel with a strategic location, since it is in front of one of the beautiful beaches on the coast of Isabela Island.

Isabela is the largest island in the Galapagos archipelago and many of its beaches are still virgin, has a unique ecosystem and fauna, its flora and geological structure are also impressive, there you can find volcanoes, lagoons, mangroves, wetlands, beaches, tropical and cloud forests in the highlands among other beauties of nature.

The island’s fauna is quite varied, it includes flamingos, land iguanas, sea lions, coastal birds and giant tortoises that you can see in their natural habitat as well as visiting the Giant Tortoise Breeding Center, where baby turtles are raised before they return to nature.

You can only get to Isabela by sea, it does not have an airport and neither a large population center, it barely even reach 2,200 people.

On Isabela Island you can carry out activities such as visit the site called “Muro de Lágrimas”, a construction made by the prisoners of the old jail that existed there, this place has a viewpoint that allows you to have a panoramic view of the island or perhaps you will be more enthusiastic snorkel or dive with stingrays, sea turtles and sharks in the Tintoreras lagoon.

Iguana Crossing Hotel is built thinking about harmonizing with the environment, so local people took charge of its construction using native materials, likewise the hotel staff is native to the island and its environments are well lit because it has large windows that allow you the best views of the beach.

Its rooms are very spacious, there are rooms that have a view of the Sierra Negra Volcano and others with ocean view and a private terrace from where you can see the sunrise and sunset. Each room is well equipped with air conditioning, cable televisions, minibar, telephones and private bathroom with ecological toiletries.

The hotel also offers its visitors wireless internet from the business room, it also has a jacuzzi on the terrace from where you can see the ocean while having a drink prepared in the hotel bar, you can also have breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurant that has very skilled chefs who will offer you traditional dishes of the marine culinary and international gourmet fusion food with Ecuadorian flavor. The kitchen uses fresh ingredients, many of them grown on the hacienda farm of the hotel.
