The MAPI Machu Picchu hotel is well located very close to the main square of Aguas Calientes town. This town is the last point before reaching the impressive Machu Picchu, in this town there are the hotels where you can stay to go on an excursion to the citadel.
In the town of Aguas Calientes there is not much to see however you can find an interesting museum and good restaurants, bars and cafes where you can hang out in the evenings.

About the rooms
Its rooms are soberly decorated, well lit, on its walls you can read some quotes about the philosophy of life and nature and you can request a room with a king bed or two twin beds.
Each room in MAPI has its private bathroom (with hot water, hair dryer, eco-friendly toiletries, towels, bathrobes), safe, telephone, cable TV, minibar, WiFi among other facilities. If you choose a “Superior Deluxe” room, you will also have a small living room and a minibar with snacks and courtesy drinks.
Restaurant and bar
The hotel has a beautiful and comfortable restaurant that allows you to view the outside thanks to its large windows. Here you can try food and drinks made with some organic ingredients of Peruvian origin. Lunch at the hotel restaurant is buffet so you can taste a little of everything that Peruvian gastronomy has to offer. And if you leave very early for your tours, you can ask to have a box breakfst or box lunch prepared for you in advance.
If you want to have a good time talking with friends and socializing with other guests, you can do so at the hotel bar, tasting the selection of liquors, piscos and wines that the bar has for you and enjoy the happy hour available every day.
