The Angermeyer Waterfront Inn is located on the Puerto Ayora promenade on Santa Cruz Island. From there you can already see some native species of the island that poke around the hotel such as coastal birds and iguanas.
Getting to the Angermeyer Waterfront Inn is easy via a sea taxi or boat that lines the bay. From the hotel you can also travel further south to the beach of Tortuga Bay, a white sand beach with calm waters. You can also go further north and visit the highlands of the island where the climate is a bit more misty than the coast and with a very different vegetation, until you reach “Los Gemelos” (the twins), a pair of identical craters, one in front of the other.
The hotel is decorated all in white with irregular walls that give it a rustic naval touch and that contrast perfectly with the colorful garden that is adorned with large pots of volcanic rock.
