Tunupa lodge is located just 10 minutes walking from the town of Ollantaytambo, it is built on a large land with views of the mountain and beautifully decorated with the native flora.
In Ollantaytambo town you can visit the ruins of the same name and go up to the temple of the sun, many of the tourist sites in the region have in their buildings a temple of the sun because for the ancient Peruvians, in their polytheistic religion, the sun was their main god.
From Ollantaytambo station you can board the train to go to Machu Picchu or if you prefer from this town you can start your walk to this Inca citadel and experience the “Inca trail”, the route that the Incas traveled to reach the heights of Machu Picchu.
Tunupa Lodge offers you a buffet breakfast included during your stay and if you feel very tired after your activities and do not want to leave the hotel, you can also request lunch and dinner.
The lodge also has a bar and a lounge where you can meet other guests and Its rooms are warm, spacious and have private bathroom with hot water, air conditioning and internet access.
