Puerto Natales is the starting point to navigate inside the Ultima Esperanza estuary where you can see some Andean animals such as guanacos and enjoy spectacular views of the Los Cóndores Waterfall and the Balmaceda Glacier until disembarking in the Bernardo O’Higgins National Park where start our walk to finally reach the slopes of the Serrano Glacier where you can take beautiful photos of the blue ice. At the end of our excursion we will take time for a typical Magellan lamb lunch
This adventure begins with the departure by catamaran from Puerto Natales, crossing the Señoret canal towards the Frigorífico Bories National Historic Monument, a 1913 building in the old English style of the post-Victorian era. Later, you will be part of a unique show, you will be able to appreciate the peculiar Magellanic dolphins of Guanaco Island called "tonina" dolphins, very similar to orcas but smaller.
Thus we will be closer and closer to the Balmaceda mountain where we will see the glacier that bears the same name, we will also visit the Tempanos Lagoon and later, the Serrano glacier. Without a doubt, this will be a tour to appreciate the beauty of the frozen landscape of Chilean Patagonia. Finally we will return to Puerto Natales.
