Itinerary

Trekking in the Jungle

Fun walk through the jungle, along trails that have varying degrees of difficulty, your guide will explain and help you choose the best path to explore the rainforest, where you can see river animals, lakes, abundant flora and some animals in their habitat. natural.

Canoe

You can do this ride in a motor or paddle canoe to visit the indigenous communities that live near the banks of the river. This boat ride is ideal for those interested in interacting with the communities and learning more about the flora and fauna that live in this biodiverse area.

Tubing

Take your buoy and slide down the river alone or accompanied, your only tool are your hands to advance. This activity allows you to see the jungle from a different perspective, admire the clear sky and the lush trees that accompany the course of the river.

Kayak

Take a leisurely ride down the river on a kayak raft while admiring the beautiful scenery along the river. During your ride you will see some monkeys that will accompany you climbing the trees, as well as the hoatzIn bird with its peculiar stinky smell.

Night Excursions

You will get to know the cocoa tree closely, the benefits of its fruit and the process that is followed to make the delicious final product with a "fine aroma", chocolate with a tasting of the product and the possibility of buying some tablets to take home or eat right there.

Rayucocha Adventure Trail

A place so immersed in the jungle that it will be difficult to find on the map, with trails that you can do depending on how much you want to walk and your adventure skills:
* Sloth Beat Trail: easy access with a duration of 3 hours, and
* Tití Trail: an adventure trail with a duration of 4 to 5 hours.

In the second path, visitors go down from the forest to the river, either walking or if you want adventure you can do it with the canyoning equipment and descend 40 meters (131 feet), this activity can be done by adventurers of all ages. To get to Suchipakari Lodge instead of walking you can also do it by bicycle, this whole experience will be safe and following all the protocols against COVID-19.

A Wildlife Refuge

This place is a refuge for wildlife, so it will be quite easy to see some monkeys swinging in the branches of the trees, tapirs, capybaras and turtles on the banks of the river, macaws flying all over the forest, the elusive Ocelot and even big snakes like boas or anacondas, but do not worry because your guide will always be with you to help you avoid any danger in the jungle.

- Rubber boots will be provided at the lodge (available sizes: from 5 to 11.5)

- For this excursion, we take a motorized canoe and we will navigate the Napo River.
- This tour can be combined with the one to observe Crocodiles and Hoatzines birds in the lagoon of Anaconda Island (your guide will attract the reptiles with a little meat so that you can see them more closely.
