Overview

There are many roads to get to Machu Picchu, one of them, the longest and least frequented is Salkantay. On this hike you will see impressive snow-capped peaks and graciares, as well as beautiful fields and Andean mountains in an adventure trip of 5 days and 4 nights.

The best time to visit Salkantay is between the months of April and October when it hardly rains and the nights are less cold. Here the sinuous Peruvian geography will put you to the test on this walk where you can observe a variety of natural settings and when you

And when you get to the town of Aguas Calientes you can finally go up to Machu Picchu, learn more about it with your guide and explore it on your own.

This tour includes food and the necessary equipment that will be carried by the tour attendants (carriers). Take into account that this tour is one way only, on the return you can do it on the train that leaves from Aguas Calientes to Cusco, an equally unforgettable but less tiring experience.

For the camp, do not worry about carrying tents or sleeping bags because you will spend the night in the “domes of the sky”, specially conditioned so that you can spend the first best night of your trip.
